All cooking classes are held at A Cook's Café. Each Class begins with an overview of the evening's activities including recipes, and a demonstration of the skills necessary for the class. Then it is back in the kitchen for hands-on instruction in small groups.

The Kitchen at A Cook's Café is a true working kitchen where hundreds of people are fed fresh and exciting meals each day prepared by its talented staff. (It will not be unusual to see catering staffs rush in and out while a class is in session.)

All the instructors in The Chesapeake School of Cooking are working chefs. They apply their trade every day to the delight of their customers, and intend to share their knowledge with you in a kitchen that is designed for professional work. Cooking classes are truly learning and entertaining experiences, and an opportunity to learn from instructors who make their living with food. And love doing it.
